We want you to join our focus groups!
The Disability Dialogue are starting a new project called the Feature Dialogue. This project is about sharing ideas and finding ways to make things better for people with disability and their community.
We want to hear from people with disability as well as the people they are connected with. Everyone’s knowledge and ideas are important.
What is involved?
We are running focus groups as part of this project. Focus groups are small groups of about 8 people who meet to share experiences and ideas.
The focus groups will:
- meet up to 5 times over 6 months
- meet online
- talk about experiences with supports outside the NDIS
- discuss ideas for change
If you need have any accessibility needs, you can let us know when you sign up using the form on this page.
If your time is not already paid for by an employer, we will pay you to take part.
What is the first topic?
The first Feature Dialogue will focus on foundational supports.
Foundational supports will be supports that are not usually funded by the NDIS. These might include:
- peer support
- clear and useful information
- supports for children early in life
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for:
- people with disability
- Family, kin and carers of people with disability
- people who work in the disability sector
